Whitney is a second year graduate student, specializing in International Security and Economic Policy in the University of Maryland School of Public Policy. She received her undergraduate degree in International Affairs with minors in Criminal Justice and Spanish from The George Washington University. Whitney is interested in multilateral efforts to promote conflict resolution and to accommodate for displaced communities. She holds a true passion for languages and deeply enjoys studying Spanish, French, and Arabic. She completed a Fulbright grant in Morocco and taught English for university students. Currently, she is a Thomas Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellow and is preparing for a career in the foreign service.
