Whitney Wilson is pursuing her Master of Public Policy (MPP) with a focus on Education Policy at the University of Maryland, College Park. She is already an alum of the university having graduated with her B.S. in Bioengineering and a Minor in International Engineering in May 2015. She is scheduled to graduate with her Masters in May 2017.
As a Lockheed Martin Research Associate Whitney has contributed to case studies on the use of outcome-based support strategies to improve performance while reducing costs and the improvement and sustainment of existing weapons systems through modernization. She has held previous internships at DuPont and the National Science Foundation and she hopes to use her two degrees to help bridge the divide between STEM fields and policy implementation.
