David Mussington Joins (ISC)2 Board of Directors

Faculty members at the UMD School of Public Policy are participating on boards and committees across a variety of fields outside the university. B. David Mussington, director of the Center for Public Policy and Private Enterprise, was elected to join the (ISC)2 Board of Directors.

Mussington’s service on the board will begin in January 2019. As a board member, he will join other top cyber, information, software and infrastructure security professionals from around the world representing academia, private organizations and government agencies.

(ISC)2 is the world’s largest nonprofit association of certified cybersecurity professionals. The association’s board of directors provides strategy, governance and oversight to the organization, as well as grants certifications and enforces the (ISC)2 Code of Ethics.
