
School of Public Policy Professor of the Practice David Mussington has been re-elected to the Board of Directors of ISC2 for the 2026–2028 term. He previously served on the board from 2019 to 2021.
ISC2 is a nonprofit membership association known for its globally recognized cybersecurity certifications. It supports a global community of cybersecurity professionals with training, advocacy and resources designed to advance the field and promote a safer and more secure cyber world.
Mussington will serve alongside leading cybersecurity professionals from around the world, contributing to the advancement of standards in a field that is critical to national security, the economy and public trust. The board is responsible for guiding the strategic direction and governance of the organization, granting certifications, developing policies and procedures and upholding the ISC2 Code of Ethics.
